COLOPHONY RESIN (Gum Resin)
Teklif AlınIt is light brown in color and has a brittle, stone-like structure. It is a natural product derived from natural pine trees. These are low-molecular-weight thermosetting polymers. With a hard, brittle, and glass-like structure, these resins have a wide range of industrial applications. Used in many sectors—primarily in the production of adhesives, paints, inks, rubber, and soap—these resins serve as both a binder and an adhesion-enhancing component in the rubber industry. They are insoluble in water but soluble in alcohol, ether, benzene, and chloroform.
