DPG (Diphenylguanidine) (Powder & Granules)

It is a white powder or granule. It is odorless and non-toxic. It is soluble in chloroform, toluene, benzene, and ethanol, but insoluble in gasoline and water. It is not hygroscopic. It is used as a secondary accelerator in NR and SBR compounds, along with thiazoles and sulfenamides. It exhibits better storage stability compared to thiuram and dithiocarbamates, but is not as active as they are. In the silicofluoride foam process, it can be used as a secondary gelling agent (foam stabilizer) in latex.
