ZDEC (ZDC/EZ) (Zinc Diethyl Dithio Carbamate) (Powder & Granules)

It is available in the form of a white powder or granules. It is soluble in low-concentration alkali, benzene, and acetone; partially soluble in chloroform; and insoluble in alcohol and ethyl acetate. It is used for solid natural and synthetic rubbers, as well as latex rubbers. It has a stronger accelerating power than TMTD. Caution should be exercised during use due to high activation and a strong tendency to burn at low temperatures (100°C). It is generally used as a secondary accelerator. Better results are obtained when used in combination with other types, such as thiazole accelerators, in latex. It is used for rubber-coated fabrics, latex products, and rubber adhesives, etc.
